DeleteI do appreciate the historical contribution of Burl Ives. I feel, in all good historical consciousness, that viewers of this blog ought to look up Mr. Ives in context with HUAC, the Red Scare and Sen. Joe McCarthy. There is a certain symmetry with today's Big Lie and the party that now seems to be post-policy and not willing to engage.
