I've honestly never been a huge fan of the stuff they did with Chet Atkins (I prefer the traditional Carter sound) but these radio shows are interesting because they feature some of the handful of recordings of mommy Maybelle on the banjo!

NOT the complete recordings (one side from RCA is missing and 4 of their Columbia sides from 1954, as well) but the quality of this CD is pretty decent to what BACM usually puts out, so I decided to post it. Already put together their complete Columbia recordings, but I'm putting together my own collection of their COMPLETE RCA recordings, so be on the lookout for that. I just need to find a 45 RPM copy of "My Life With You" ...

It should be noted that whenever I post these, I'm basically only using the covers and the track list. All tracks are usually my own restorations, transfers or rips. With this volume, all the tracks that weren't taken from the Legacy June Carter Cash "Her Life In Music" set and one of the Bear Family Carl Smith box sets are from vinyl 45 releases from my own collection.
